Spring tempered carbon steel Knife Edge bandsaw blades are produced for cutting soft and fibrous materials that would fray or tear if cut with a conventional tooth-type band. The Knife Edge produces little downward drag so there is no tearing during the cut, producing an excellent finish. Sterling^® Knife Edge blades are double beveled.
